Paw Sox night brings awareness to Parkinson's
Five-hundred people attended the Paw Sox game on Saturday, June 15th organized by the American Parkinson Disease Association Massachusetts and Rhode Island Chapters and Team DominACHIN. Highlights of the evening included a presentation on the field and a tribute to all living with Parkinson's disease. Special thanks to Mike and Gail Achin for their work in supporting this event. First responder Officer Joe Turner, a member of the North Metro Swat Team, threw the first pitch. It was an honor to have him represent our Parkinson community. APDA representatives Mary Ellen Thibodeau, Dr. Joseph Friedman, Elaine and Bruce Belvin, Cathi Thomas, Allyson Gormley, Alex Yen, Melissa Diggin, and Dr. Samuel Frank joined many wonderful volunteers on this beautiful evening. Hope to see you next year.
