Why do you volunteer for APDA Massachusetts? Both my grandmother and father had Parkinson’s disease. My father, Donald McAuliffe, was a patient at BU Medical Center’s Parkinson Disease Movement and Disorder Center. I volunteer on the Board in hopes that I can make an impact on easing the burden of Parkinson’s patients and to find a cure. When did you first join the Board, and what is your role on it? I first joined the Board in 2008. For the past three years I have been the Raffle Coordinator for the annual Walk-a-Thon. Fun Facts I bungee jumped in New Zealand. What do you want to see the APDA MA Chapter accomplish over the next year? It would be great to come up with some more fundraising ideas. |
