Waltham, MA: Chair Yoga for People with Parkinson's Disease - Jewish Family & Children's Services


Many people with Parkinson’s disease and their care partners report that yoga helps their body and their mood. Join a NEW class in Waltham designed to target some of the challenges of PD. Vera Moshkevich, RYT, is a registered yoga teacher who has trained with and received certifications from the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, the Mind/Body Institute at the Harvard Medical School, Yoga for  students with Parkinson’s disease, Yoga for Older Adults, and multiple other yoga-related disciplines. Vera has twenty-five years of experience in practicing and successfully teaching yoga to various audiences. Classes take place at Jewish Family and Children's Services (1430 Main Street in Waltham).
