Massachusetts is home to some of the country's best medical facilities when it comes to research in and the treatment of PD. For information on Movement Disorder Specialists (neurologists trained to treat individuals with Parkinson's disease), please contact the APDA Information & Referral Center at Boston University Medical Center at 617-638-8466 or 800-651-8466. The Information & Referral Center has a complete list of neurologists who are members of the Movement Disorder Society. The Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders Center at BU Medical Campus is designated an APDA Advanced Center of PD Research, and is also home to the APDA Information and Referral Center. BUMC also provides diagnosis, treatment and support to patients with Parkinson's disease and other movement disorders. |
