On April 19, 2010 two individuals ran the 2010 Boston Marathon and took the opportunity to support the APDA Massachusetts Chapter. Early that morning, Patti Hall and Frank Killilea made their way to Hopkinton only to turn around and run the 26.2 mile course to Boston. They survived Heartbreak Hill and finished the race with smiles and support from their families. Through their dedication and phenomenal fundraising efforts, our runners raised $4,450 combined and the MA Chapter couldn’t be more grateful.

Patti decided to honor all of her supporters by asking them to sign the shirt that she wore that day. As you can see, it is covered with signatures and good luck wishes. She ran in honor of her father-in-law, Frank in honor of his father, and they both ran in support of the entire Parkinson's disease community.

Once again, we would like to thank them for their tremendous contribution and wish them the best in future races!
