Sleep and Cognition in Parkinson’s Disease:
A Research Study at Boston University
- Sleep problems are common in Parkinson’s disease. This study will examine how sleep problems may affect cognition (thinking), perception, and mood.
- You will be assessed for cognition, perception, and mood. You will be asked to answer sleep questionnaires, keep a sleep diary, and wear small activity monitors for a week. You will sleep at home as usual.
- We are looking for volunteers who:
- Are in good general health with no neurological disorders
OR - Have a diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease without dementia
- Are in good general health with no neurological disorders
- If you agree to participate in this research study, you will be reimbursed for your efforts.
